WHO IS PARCAE?
Parcae is an ensemble born out of a desire to build community through music. In our individual performing careers, each of us has experienced the disconnect between audience and performer in the sterile environment of a concert hall. Our goal is to bring music into communal spaces and make it accessible to all.
We are committed to performing music from different time periods and cultures in the hopes that people see their own lives and experiences represented in our work. Our focus is on the importance of collaboration, both with each other and with other musicians, composers, artists, and audience, in order to create performances that resonate.

Justine Langman
Justine Langman is a sought-after collaborative pianist and chamber musician in the central NJ area. After graduating from Rutgers University in 2016 with her B.S. in Mathematics with High Honors, she began working as a staff pianist at the Mason Gross School of the Arts. Since then, she has collaborated and recorded with members of the New York Philharmonic, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra. Since 2020, Justine has served as the music director of United Reformed Church in Somerville, NJ, and she is currently the pianist for the Voorhees Choir and the University Choir at Rutgers. In her free time, Justine enjoys baking, rock-climbing, and pickleball, and she loves creating and solving puzzles and mysteries of all varieties.
Marija Bosnar
Mezzo-soprano Marija Bosnar is a transplant from the Pacific Northwest with a BM in Vocal Performance from Central Washington University and a MM in Opera Performance from Mason Gross School of the Arts. While the operatic stage has been a long-held fascination, Marija has also been an avid participant in the choral arts over the last 12 years, having sung in both student and professional groups at institutions such as the University of Notre Dame, Cornell University, and various churches throughout the greater Tri-state area. She currently serves as the cantor at St Paul Lutheran Church in East Windsor. As a soloist, she has performed in the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, but collaborative performance is a love held close to her heart. Beyond the musical pursuits, Marija splits her time between her photography business and painting for her Etsy shop House of the Dreaming Bee. She also has a black cat with thumbs named Rufus.

Sarah Stine
Sarah Stine is a soprano based in central New Jersey. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Voice Performance from Susquehanna University and a Master’s Degree in Voice Performance from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. A specialist in early and new music, she performs frequently as a chorister and soloist in the tristate area. Recent performance highlights include soloing with the New Brunswick Chamber Orchestra and Rutgers Symphony Band, singing on Saturday Night Live with Sam Smith, and performing as a soloist in the Summit Symphony Opera Gala. She is thrilled to perform regularly with Parcae, and to be able to focus on creating accessible programs designed to encourage a sense of community between performer and audience. She has a passion for education, and maintains a studio of voice and piano students of all ages. When she is not singing, you can probably find her knitting, reading, or catching up on horror movies.
